Conversaion overheard between two vets this morning...

Older dude: I just don't know about this SwiftVet business. Why is this coming out now? All of a sudden? It's one thing to say these things now, but it's a whole different thing when people are shooting bullets at you.

Younger dude: I don't know what to believe.

Older dude: And what gets me is that all of a sudden Bush can't find his records from the Guard. It sounds fishy to me.

Younger dude: Isn't Bush a veteran? Did he have a deferment?

Older dude: No, his Dad got him into the guard and then he didn't show up.

The conversation went on.... just two guys shooting the breeze. My heart soared. It's a beautiful day!
