3. The start of his show was terrific
He started by giving the Republicans a dose of their own medicine on the "The war on terror is not winnable" gaffe Bush made the other day. He played outrageous Republican comments criticizing John Murtha back when he said "If we don't change our strategy, the war in Iraq may be unwinnable." Special emphasis on Franken's favorite target - Norm Coleman.

Next he had some great material about a Republican speaker lauding REPUBLICANS like Reagan for advancing the cause of civil rights. LOL.

Franken: "Reagan?! Reagan?! Reagan?! Reagan?!" Then Lanpher reminded Al that Reagan started his campaign by going to Philadelphia MS where the three civil rights workers were murdered by the clan to praise states rights. So Al went off on that for a while.

Finally he talked about Arnold mentioning Nelson Mandela despite the fact the Cheney was on the wrong side of the issue back when it counted.

Great start to the show.
