1. I hate the media
I hate Republicans too, but it's utterly ridiculous to have commentary on a veteran's speech by Whitman (unless she served or something, did she?)

3. If I recall, her husband served in a role similar to Kerry's
I may be wrong.

Now, when the Republicans bring up this $87b thing, do the news people ever respond with a level of context? Or do they just let it go?

13. Did they ever not let someone get away with Gore invented the internet?
Hell no! In fact they perpetuated it themselves. If I heard one "journalist" mention before the 2000 election I heard a thousand! They are absolutely worthless pieces of shit. I have no faith in them as responsible purveyors of truth. They're corporate shills and corrupt salespeople. Every fucking last one of them. How's that for some venom? :) feels good :grr:

4. Thats nonsense
How can you contend that only a verteran can comment on a veterans speech?

I am not a verteran, but I damn well have the right and obligation to comment on speechs, even those of veterans.

10. If she's going to comment on Veterans affairs
the LEAST she could do is tell the TRUTH. :grr:

12. As a TV commentator!
Sure, comment all you want as a non-vet. You know I didn't say that, so don't get all fussy.

I said having Whitman as the guest commentator on TV on this particular speech makes no sense. It's like having some random doctor make "expert" commentary about a speech to civil rights activists.

14. At the time of the vote, the troops were BUDGETED FOR SIX MONTHS
So Kerry, instead of acting as a rubberstamp, maybe decided to skip the first offer.

Whitman is a team player. It's just too bad she's on the wrong team.

18. Whitman could even stand Bush's hypocrisy
She bailed on the EPA at the first available moment once she realized that she was nothing but a figurehead for BoyGeorge and big businesses' agendas. She was to rubber stamp anything that came across her desk and keep her mouth shut. She did exactly as she was told and then cut and run. Fighting for America's environment was never part of the plan. Her appointment was just politically correct postings (along with with Elaine Chao) as paying political chits for campaign work.

But like the rest of the clones, McCain, etc. she knows what a huge prick, failure, and asshole Bush & Co. is but she'll toe the party line - she sold her soul to the GOP devils years ago.

19. Yup, I'm reading "The Price of Loyalty"
by Paul O'Neill and he tells how the chimp let Whitman travel around the WORLD telling Kyoto members that the U.S. is behind Kyoto. He then, out of the blue, called her into his office and told her that HE (ya right :eyes:) decided that Global Warming was NOT the issue HE wanted to support. The American people wanted "energy production" and if carbon dioxide was regulated, it would slow down that "energy production" and that is not what the American people want.

HE SHIT ON HER and she was PISSED yet continued to kiss his ass then, and now. :grr: These people have NO principles. NONE. :grr:
