Immediate backlash from the Gropenator's convention speech!
I organize a voter registration table on a community college campus near my workplace here in California. On my breaks and lunch hour, I'll walk over to the tabling site and check on the volunteers' progress.

well, apparently today, we had one young woman walk right up to the table and demand a registration form! In her words, "Our governor's speech last night embarassed and infuriated me. I wasn't planning on voting, but I know that whatever that stupid chauvinist supports I have to vote AGAINST!"

Way to go, Arnold! Now, if only the GOP convention could last until October, we'd have this presidential race in the bag!

4. That is great news!
I didn't watch the convention, in a nutshell, what did he say that was so offensive?

5. He reiterated his famous "Girly man" comment about economic
naysayers. he also said something about being able to come to America and succeed, "If you follow the rules." It came off like a lecture to third graders. Which, in essence - considering the audience in the convention hall - it was.

7. "If you follow the rules"
Says the poster boy for steroids....who succeeded by oiling his nearly naked body and posing in front of other men...

Also his speech contained a couple of pretty big whoppers...Austria was never a communist country and Humphrey and Nixon did not debate...

6. "Dun't....be...an...economic....girlyman...."
That's evidently the sun of the Republican program for jobs....

Hard to say whether that's more offensive to working men or working women....

12. Yes. But remember that we ARE the state that elected Reagan governor.
We aren't as liberal as the rest of the country wants to believe.

13. But Reagan couldn't win there today. Ahh - hole is no conservative and
he refused to run when he had the chance to run head to head against Davis.

14. True. Davis was "rat-f**ked" out of office...
by the falsified electricity crisis.

Conditions that would immediately be seen thru by the elctorate now.
