Michigan, Ohio, Indiana DUers take note!
Will also post this in the Michigan forum but maybe some of our Ohio and Indiana friends will want to drive up for this:

"MEDIA ADVISORY: September 2-3

Senator Max Cleland, MI Veterans to Hold Bush

Accountable For Swift Boat Lies and Failures in Iraq

Cleland to be Joined by Granholm, Stabenow, Dingell, Kilpatrick,

Levin and Kildee During Multiple Events in Metro Detroit and Flint

Detroit, MI - U.S. Senator Max Cleland, a Vietnam Veteran and triple amputee as a result of combat, will join hundreds of Michigan veterans at events in metro Detroit and Flint on Thursday and Friday to talk about how John Kerry's long held values - service, sacrifice and courage -have guided his public career and will guide him to make the right decisions for our nation as the next President of the United States.

Cleland and area veterans will also condemn George Bush's baseless attacks on Senator Kerry's service record and compare Kerry's national security plan to Bush's failed policies in Iraq.

Statewide elected officials who will accompany Cleland at various events include: Governor Jennifer Granholm, Senator Debbie Stabenow, Congressman John Dingell, Congressman Sander Levin, Congressman Dale Kildee, Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks- Kilpatrick, Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano, and Veterans for Kerry State Coordinator Jack Devine.

Cleland's trip marks the end of a week-long veterans tour through Michigan. Wade Sanders, a swiftboat crewmate of John Kerry began the tour Monday and Tuesday with veterans' events in Lansing, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids and Traverse City.
