Terry McCauliff calls Zell Miller "Darth Vader"
He said, "Well let's be very clear, he's not a Democrat; he left our party a long time ago. He's the Darth Vader of the Democratic Party. He has never attended a Democratic Senate meeting since he's come up to Washington to be a Senator...This is all about Zell Miller selling books."
Just on CNN.
Pretty cool.

3. Excellent
I just finished watching Zell's 1992 speech -- it was unbelievable. Very traditional Democratic speech. Funny part was since Clinton was running against George Sr. Zell kept saying - George Bush has no clue.

Zell is selling (or receiving money) something cuz he is the polar opposite of what he said in 92.

16. I'm fine with Zig-Zag Zell. Not a villain name, I know, but it fits him.

8. Let's call him ....
Zell. I think that will do just fine for a villain name. Why look to comic books for evil when it is so well-embodied in this one politician?

7. McCauliff is on MSNBC now saying that Zell is Darth and that he
went to the dark side a long time ago. He also called him zig zag Zell. Trying to discredit him before the speech. I wish they would have started this a bit earlier.

18. i love it, but if he had done this the day Zell appeared on the stage with
chimp back in 2001, we wouldn't have to deal with this tonight. Five minutes before his speech they should announce he's been given the boot from the party.

21. That is good to hear
I wonder if Mr. McAuliffe would have been invited to appear without all of our calls and emails. I know they have received at least a dozen "love letters" from me in the past week alone.

22. News in Brief
Posted on Thu, Apr. 29, 2004

... Zell Miller, Georgia's maverick Democratic senator, said yesterday on the Senate floor that the nation ought to return to having senators appointed by legislatures rather than elected by voters...

Keyes is also singing this song. I'm beginning to see a Republican theme.
