Here it comes - Kerry starting to bring it on
The real campaign has officially started. Kerry is putting the plan in place.

Later, you Stupid Fucking Chimp.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - John Kerry (news - web sites) said Wednesday that terrorists have gained new havens and "extremism has gained momentum" in Iraq (news - web sites) because President Bush (news - web sites) has mishandled virtually every step of the war.
"Our differences could not be plainer, and I have set them out consistently," the Democratic presidential candidate told veterans at the American Legion national convention. "When it comes to Iraq, it's not that I would have done one thing differently, I would have done everything differently."

Kerry delivered his critical assessment of the administration's performance in Iraq as the GOP mustered in New York City to nominate Bush to a second term. Challengers typically refrain from major campaigning during the other party's nominating convention

4. One thing he must not be, if he was not afraid to take on

Nixon..... he must not be even the least little bit afraid to go after shrub on all issues. Let's see... a smart senator... vs a former governor of a state with some of the worst records on environmental issues and education. My money is on the senator. If I had been a few years older... I would have been at the demonstrations with JK against the "police action" in Vietnam.

7. Confirmed in a campaign HQ phone call.
I made a call to the Kerry headquarters today. Talked with a very bright woman (Kate?). I mentioned how I wanted the campaign to start swining a proverbial baseball bat, but had changed my mind. Maybe we should be hiring the finest advertising agencies to create something that everyone simply must have. Something that the republicans have been doing for a long time. She said to just wait and see what happens after this weekend. The implication was that we are in for some fireworks.

I want to say, bring it on. But I'll reserve that for when I see it with my own eyes. Come on, baby!

8. 2.89 with 1009 votes? That rating system is a complete joke. Hell bells,
I went to rate something a few days ago after three people here had rated it. It told me I was the first one to rate it, and it gave it a rating of 5. That's EXACTLY what happened to the other two.

It's fixed folks.
