I Became A Kerry Fan Today. His Speech Kicked Ass & Was Well Timed
Kerry took the offensive and spoke up DURING the RNC.

This alone got coverage.

And he did a swimmingly good job at the speech. Made CLEAR distinctions between how he & Bush deal with Foreign Policy.

He recalled his own strong support of Veterans Affairs SINCE COMING BACK FROM VIET NAM.

He made it clear the we are the only industrialized nation without affordable Health Care.

And then we find Eliot Spitzer lambasted Cheney asking what did he know and when did he know it.
Clelland/Kerrey asked for Rove's resignation for his comment about Kerry.

I was less then enthusiastic about Kerry right after the primaries.

But with the way the DNC was handled so well. And then the way Kerry hit a Triple with bases loaded at his Nomination Speech (it wasn't out of the park). It was hard not to start feeling confident in him.

And then the coordinated attacks against the Smear Boat Liars. This shit is going to bite Bush on the ass.

But today's speech has me firmly in Kerry's corner as a fan. The man knows what he's doing. I am confidently expecting him to win in November's Election.

8. I'm getting most of my news from LBN these days.
I can't handle cable any more. I want to put a size 10 steel-toed boot through the screen every time I watch.

I saw JK in Charlotte, NC, two weeks ago. His stump speech was excellent - different than it had been a few days before - and he really does know how to work the crowd for applause lines. He came across as literate, funny, extremely knowledgeable, and caring.

However, Getting to meet him face to face made me firm in the conviction that he is exactly the right man for the job. He has the character, integrity, and guts to win this election; and the leadership and compassion to be a great American President.

13. Kerry is articulate, intelligent, & courageous.
He won me over when I saw his appearance as a 20-something veteran on the old Dick Cavett show opposite a wormy John O'Neill. I was impressed with the courage he had to speak out on behalf of his fellow troops who were still stuck in an impossible situation in Vietnam.

He will be a breath of fresh air as our president: imagine our country being represented by a man who can think on his feet & be trusted to make the right decisions on our behalf; a president who cares about the middle class & the poor; a president who has convictions about doing what's right.

I'm pumped for November -- I love John Kerry!

15. Kerry knows what he's doing. I wish some @ DU would quit
dumping on him and demoralizing us. It's not usefull at all.

Good to hear someone is paying attention to Kerry. Many of those who are whining about JK here, probably didn't see the speech and don't plan on it.

16. I Thought It Was Kerry At His Best.
He seemed, dare I say it, "Presidential".

Most of all, he ripped GWB's little ass upside down and back without being shrill.

I thought he was fantastic!

20. Well that's what I see, Kerry always impresses me
BTW, I started watching the speech on CNN, and flipped away to FAUX simply because they are more fair and balanced.

And you know why? Because fucking CNN split the screen half the time with quotes from Shrubscum's speech to the same group!Like they can't even show a Kerry speech without showing what their great emperor as to say in rebuttal. They can't let Kerry say a fucking thing without them commenting on it(even if it's only text) even while the speech is going.

CNN SUCKS ASS.
