the RNC coverage has been lees than glowing..(IMO) I surf the channels
and PBS and the rest of the talking heads seem sullen and bored to tears. The guests are less than enthused...even making fun of some speakers.

One more day...and it will be over. Thank god for "queer eye" and "dinner and a movie"

1. Well, I can't say you're wrong
since I haven't watched a second of the coverage, but I sure get a different impression reading all the threads. Last night, it seemed like all I was reading was that the Dems had no reps on any of the shows, and everyone else was whoring for *. I'd enjoy hearing some examples of the negative comments, if you can recall any.

2. Tucker Carlson was less than enthusiastic....Karen Tumulty joked the
twins...exact comments I don't recall..just the atmosphere..

I did not watch any of the RNC but when I found Dems as guests on CNN or PBS etc...I listened for a minute.

Gergen was less than enthusiastic...the big surprise to me was Carlson..usually he is a cheerleader for shrub...but not lately. Could he have seen the light? Is he of draft age and worried? Is he reborn as a democrat?

3. My husband and I were laughing..
at the audience. Lots of people yawning, talking to each other, looking booored.

4. Interesting take
I've been popping in on it as my nausea allows and I found it to be very pro-republican.

But my exposure has been very intermittent.

5. Nobody but political junkies are watching this crappola.
And it looks awful. This is no big ad for the Repugs. The people look completely bored. The speeches are tacky -- attacking dead men, for God's sake. They aren't looking good.

As far as I'm concerned the Dems need to stay away from this debacle and let me ship sink on its own.

This will go down in history as the lamest convention ever, just like the failed administration.
