Obama should note that JFK kept his schedule during the Cuban Missile Crisis
for a few days JFK knew, and the public didn't, that we were on the brink of nuclear war. Yet he kept his daily schedule, even minor meet-and-greet sessions with schoolkids and the like. That didn't stop JFK from giving full attention to a situation which dwarfs the present one in importance.

Obama should bring that up and note the importance of steady leadership and keeping up with the nation's important business even in times of crisis. Make McCain seem like the jittery and panicked leader he is- this seems like a recurring theme with McCain, after he seemed to eager to cancel the Republican convention because of Hurricane Gustav.

5. Yeah, but he was a Democrat
Republicans run away at the first sign of trouble.

Remember Bushie hopping from spider hole to spider hole on 9-11 -- running as fast as he could away from NYC and DC?
