6. Oh....he's been doing all sorts of stuff

asking for gay Republicans to speak to and questioning convention goers with trick questions. He says that he's been putting up anti-Bush stickers, but that could also be a joke.

Then again, not every arrest/detainment has made sense at the Con-job, so they may have just picked him up for the hell of it too.

15. On Air America today

I was listening and working at the same time so I might have missed something important but...

During Franken's show someone with Air America called in from a jail cell in NY. Said he was picked up the night before. Had not been allowed to see an attorney, had not been arraigned, just sitting in a cell that was overrun with cockroaches.

Franken asked him what he had done to get arrested. Guy said nothing, were not protesting, acting out, nothing. Was just arrested.

Franken was very concerned, asked if he needed anything, that they would send someone right over with bail money, etc. Guy said it was too early for that because he hadn't been charged, etc.

Now, I didn't get the guy's name, this was this afternoon sometime between 12 and 3 and, as you can tell, sketchy on some of the details. What caught my attention at the time was Franken's disbelief and concern.

Anybody have anything more current than that? Gestapo is alive and well and patrolling the streets New York.

He was asked to leave. They didn't detain him exactly.

Tomorrow they'll play the audio he got with Ann Coulter and a Log Cabin Republican.

He was walking around with a sign asking for a Log Cabin Republican to talk to him, and then he was gabbed by 3 SS agents. They then noticed a flag pin give to him by an SS agent at the Democratic Convention. He was questioned more...and then told to leave.

He meandered out...still asking occasionally about gay Republicans.

Other stuff, but I'm sure they'll tell the story in more detail tomorrow when they play his audio.
