These guys get me angry, because I've educated myself on the issues and I can pick out the bullshit (pretty much everything after "Thank You" and "Hello"). But they also come off like snarling, evil, grumpy old cranks -- the sort of crazy cooks down the street who used to chase you off their lawns when you were getting your frisbee and who everyone told scary stories about while camping ("I hear ol' crazy Grandpa Miller keeps human heads in his basement...).

Maybe I'm wrong and watching with a biased eye, but if I was an undecided voter trying to find a party I could identify with, I would watch tonight and feel like I wanted no part of these people. I'm not a grumpy old crank yet, though, so who knows?
