Kerry has pulled his ads from Louisiana, but

I am hearing ads about the Patriot Act...saying it is usurping our individual freedoms. Says, "whether you are Repub or Dem, you must be concerned about the renewal of the Patriot Act." Anyone else seeing these? Don't know who is sponsoring them, am never actually in front of the TV when they come on.

P.S. No Kerry ads, many Swift Boat Ads and bush ads....it is hell here in the political wasteland. Thank goodness Carville is a Cajun, it gives me hope for LA.

1. Hang in there, they will be back

I read yesterday that they are doing a big ad buy on Friday. We probably will have to wait a few weeks to see them here, but we are included in the list that they plan to target with more ads before Nov. How are things in Abbeville? I've been driving around with Kerry/Edwards stickers on my car here in New Iberia, and I have only been given the finger twice! We are fortunate here though....KANE radio, the AM station in New Iberia, is a virtual Bush Hate-Fest from 10:00-1:00. Jeff Boggs the DJ is a friend of mine and hates Bush's guts. It's a three hour talk/call-in show, and the majority of the time he sits and talks about what a putz Bush is.

2. Hi Finecraft!

Where is KANE on the radio dial? AM or FM? No one has given me the finger yet for my Kerry bumper sticker, but there was a truck that came up behind me, went around me, got in front of me, slowed down so I could read his bumper sticker, which said, "Vietnam Vet Against Kerry"...since he was probably watching me in the rear view mirror, I blew him a kiss...he sped up. Have only seen one other Kerry sticker, very disappointing, but no one here has access to them unless they order over the internet. And, who in Abbeville will drive the 25 miles to Lafayette to pick up an armful of them? Not alot of Bush stickers or signs yet, but that will change soon....shudder. Nice to hear from you, send me that info on KANE please!

I am always sending Jeff stuff to read on the air. Any news articles, op-ed pieces, or other anti-Bush information you feel the public should know (heck...Jeff even reads the occasional Will Pitt article on air....)send it to him at [e-mail]. He generally does a segment each day reading the email he has received. He is a wonderful friend, and his show is the only sanity for me in an otherwise "Bushworld".

4. The anti-Patriot Act ads are from the ACLU

No Dem involvement whatsoever.

And the ACLU ad is great. Very well done.
