BREAKING: House Republicans walk out, refuse to attend emergency meeting about bailout
Edited on Thu Sep-25-08 09:14 PM by kpete
MSNBC Repubs REFUSE To participate

McCain He was in the room at first

He left and said, "I have no power to negotiate"

Some of us tried to get him to tell us what he thought.

But we were frustrated.

We hope the House Republicans will participate.

We hope the president and the republican candidate will participate.

2. oh my god, did you hear
the reporter who said that the McCain camp just released a statement calling the White house meeting today a "contentious shouting match"?? And Frank said "Well, not a shouting match, but someone did try to ask McCain his POSITION on something!"

4. I love Barney. He had some really great quips in the past few days.
On McCain pulling out of the debate:

"This is the longest Hail Mary pass in the history of either football or Mary's."
