And now, an excerpt from my inner monologue, as transcribed while watching various clips from Sarah Palin's interview with Katie Couric (I can't link to them; they're too painful):

But hey, maybe it's all just effing brilliant rope-a-dope for the Biden debate ....

2. If she was faking it during the part where she looks at the ground and
doesn't answer for about 5 seconds, then gets a really pained look on her face and repeats what she's already said, well then she deserves an acting award. Could anyone really act that unprepaired? It was painful to watch. I have no sympathy for her, but it was still painful to watch.

Oh, and watching that clip, there is one time where Katies eyes, well, it just looked like she REALLY didn't like what she was seeing. Just for a moment, there were little daggers. I'm guessing Katie was told to go easy on mcfailin.

3. Yes, it's all a big trap. Sarah is actually a PhD.
She's freaking brilliant, actually. A dazzling intellectual. A breathtaking mastery of foreign policy and domestic policy. But she's hiding that and showing "Sarah Palin", which we're seeing right now. And then, at the debate...poor Joe won't know what hit him.

Ha, ha. :-)
