Obama just faced his first showdown and won (McCain to attend debate)
In my book that's called PRESIDENTIAL

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26900453/

WASHINGTON - Republican John McCain will attend the first presidential debate as scheduled Friday night, the Associated Press reported.

McCain met briefly Friday morning with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, before heading to his campaign headquarters. He had pledged to stay in Washington to work on a deal that would address the financial crisis, even if it meant postponing the debate.

3. House Republicans manufacture a collapse
McCain saves the day and gets back in time to debate.

Presidential material, that.

4. McCain Painted Himself a Weasel
he's always been a weasel, but now Americans truly see him as the phony he is. So now, ever word that comes from his mouth will be much more scrutinized.... enjoy the pressure.

8. Stock Markets are responding "like in kind"
DOW started falling as soon as the news of McSame leaving the negotiations broken by his Political Grandstanding.

This is not going to playout well for him

5. Gramps was assured that the Democrats always give in.
Gramps was also assured that Palin would be a great candidate and would draw all the Clinton voters because she has a vagina just like Senator Clinton.

Gramps is clearly an idiot who cannot control his own campaign and who takes and acts on bad advice on a regular basis.

For Country, John McCain, for Honor and Country, it is time to withdraw from the race.

6. Thank god Obama has a backbone. There were people just a couple of days ago squirming
saying that he should cancel his campaign too. I'm glad he stuck to his guns and stayed through this.
