Armani, Zenga, Hugo Boss and all of the other major expensive Italian designers use flat fronted pants now and the jackets are generally tailored so that there's half an inch or more of cuff showing. Those are the new trends, anyway.

The thing is that Obama is so good looking that he can look young while still wearing less expensive more conservative suits. I wouldn't be surprised if his suits cost $500 or less.

Two people died so that James Meredith could attend Ole Miss, but Meredith dismissed any notion of himself as civil rights activist. He said it was only about him and his individual rights, but so many others fought the fight for/with him, and so many others benefited. How sad, how sad, and yet within his lifetime we see Barack Obama, who wasn't even born when Meredith entered Ole Miss in 1962, welcomed onto the campus as perhaps the soon-to-be President of the United States.
