A REPUBLICAN Week in Review:
Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 05:22 PM by RoadRage
(Edited to add additional scandals)

Just in case anyone was on vacation, i'd like to quickly recap all of the wonderful things the republicans have been "dealing" with this week:

* Todd Palin & friends ignore subpoenas and the entire trooper-gate investigation

* National Enquirer breaks a story about Sarah Palin cheating on her husband

* John McCain suspends his presidential campaign 40 days before the election (first time ever!)

* John McCain backs out of a presidential debate 2 days before it's suppose to happen

* John McCain cancels on David Letterman, Lies to David Letterman, gets caught by David Letterman

* Sarah Palin has 2 days worth of interviews aired with Katie Couric. They don't go so well

* Sarah Palin explains that her international experience still includes her being able to see Russia from her house

* Republicans start to publicly ask if Palin should resign from her position to "save the party".

* Sarah Palin's scandal involving charging rape victims to pay for their own rape-kit blows up onto the National Media this week

* The McCain campaign has huge run-in with the press after trying to get a photo-op of Palin talking with International leaders, but not allowing a reporter to actually be in the room. The story turns into less of "Palin meets with world leaders" and instead becomes "Palin's staff won't allow reporters to come near her".

* It's learned that John McCain's campaign manager Rick Davis has been taking $15K per month from Freddie Mac since 1996.. and payments didn't stop until September, 2008

* You Tube video discovered of Sarah Palin being prayed over by a minister who wants to absolve her of witch-craft

* John McCain rides into Washington to help "fix" the 700 Billion dollar bailout negotiations even though a resolution is already imminent. He successfully de-rails the negotiations much to the disappointment of several republicans and President Bush himself.

* John McCain Goes back on his own word to skip debate, and decides 10 hours before it is scheduled to start that he will in fact attend it.

* Palin's minister blames Jewish bank owners for the Financial Crisis

* Senator Stevens (R - Alaska) corruption trial begins next week.

* McCain Campaign watches in horror as Barack Obama doesn't bite on any of their scandals, and turns their threats & bullying into John McCains inability to Multi-Task.

* List whatever else I've forgotten below....

AND WE'RE SCARED THAT OBAMA MIGHT NOT WIN?!?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT OTHER SCANDALS DID I MISS.. I'M SURE THERE IS SOMETHING (ONLY LIST THOSE FROM THE PAST WEEK.. WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME OR SPACE ON DU TO LIST THEM ALL).
