Larry Gatlin: "I'll be Zell's second"
Gatlin to dissenter in the crowd: "When you get to be a big star and they want to interview you ... until then, shut up!"

Uh, Gatlin hasn't been a big star for 20 years. In fact, Gatlin was NEVER a headliner ... he opened for country acts like Alabama back in the 70's or 80's. What a prick. He used to be able to sing.

2. His latest gig around here was at the Lincoln County (Oregon) fair...
I guess he was a headliner, but I'm not sure. I mean, a local magician got more ink.

Good for your Vet to tell Gatlin to take a hike!

Tell me, please, did your Vet play with Marty on the classics like El Paso??????? If so, I know who Vet is! Some fine fine fine guitar work on that one!

with a Front band and did some studio work and toured with The Wally Fowler Show. And the Oak Ridge Boys. Wally was a crook but Wally and Willie did some good work together.

and PTSD. He fingerstyle picks like Chet did. And can play anything ! did some work with Phil Driskell. Produced some with some pretty big folks and played all over till things went bad for him. HE has a guitar in the Country Music Halof Fame. I am proud of him.

20. larry's got a gig in branson.........
In addition to two shows in Minot, ND, Larry the star and his brothers Daryl and Daryl are booked at the Welk Resort Theatre in Branson from September - December. Looks like three weeks on, one week off.

At one time the Gatlin Brothers were the Park Cities/Dallas "society band". They were the big stars at the "cattleman's ball". Everyone pretended to kiss their asses.

They got a lot of mileage out of two or three "hits" from the early eighties. Guess they ran out of "all the gold in california".

When Larry is not preforming he likes to appear on the 700 club with brother Pat.

17. Is he saying the celebrities have more right to an opinion than others?
Isn't that the opposite of a previous right wing talking point?

Arnold and Reagan excluded from all right wing talking points, of course.

19. It's "liberal celebrities" who should just shut up and sing
Springsteen should just shut up and sing.

Charlie Daniels has freedom of speech, you're a traitor if you complain.

Janeane Garofalo should just shut up and act.

Bruce Willis is a proud American and you're a traitor if you complain.

Sheryl Crow should just shut up and sing.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a proud example for all immigrants and you support Osama if you say otherwise.
