Fantastic News From Tonight Bashathon!!!!
What happened tonight tells us two things:

1. They don’t have Osama in chains ready to haul in tomorrow.
2. McCain is not replacing Cheney as Bush’s V.P.

Those would probably be truly scary challenges to a Kerry victory.

John Kerry is a truly great presidential candidate. The Repubs
know that with Kerry we can win.

I am breathing a sigh of relief.

10. Rasmussen has a three day rolling window. So it lags at least 3 days.
They poll about 500 people a night and take three nights worth to make 1500 for a "poll". Thus there is a lag. Wednesday's poll had data from Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

12. Yes but they are not showing any movement
I know the true real data comes four to seven days after the convention (and there is so little in the undecideds that I do not expect that much of a bounce)

See by now in the Democratic convention there was some, albeit very small and within margin of error positive movement

2. Amen!
I was so relieved when sneery accepted the nomination as VP, and didn't drop dead right on the stage.

They are running scared! They know the end is near.

4. Agreed, to hold such a hateful inflammatory convention only proves
that these clowns really are a bunch of ten year olds.

You have to be shitting me, contrary to GOP propagandathe Armed Forces are POed at these idiots...why do you think they want to remove privacy from the military vote?

Oh and my husband retired within the last year from the armed forces, I think I am qualified to speak... oh boy the things I heard last october at a military base...

11. I would like to think not, but
the military are approximately equal to the general public, or so it seems, and that would mean at least 35% who would do anything and follow anywhere these fascists direct. Manipulation is very powerful, and the crazy bastards, at one point, actually had about 80% they could depend on, even if only long enough to pass landmark anti civil rights legislation and draconian war powers acts.

8. Ya know, I thought they would hide it better than this actually
It says a lot that they are beyond hiding their true natures.

These are some seriously nasty pieces of work, and their desperation is really, really showing.

Mmmm...wonder what that means.

15. Paper tigers who are responsible for the murder of
more than ten thousand people? Paper tigers who can calmly plot the takeover of the entire world and the destruction of half of it?

17. AND...........
...the fact that they are shoring up their base at the convention instead of appealing to moderates means they're bailing with a tin can now. The Republican base is eroding.
