Please, no more Mr. Nice Guy
Edited on Thu Sep-02-04 03:22 AM by devrc243
One of the MANY reasons I like Kerry is he has such class and always stays above the fray, but after the hate-fest this week, I'm hoping and praying Kerry comes out swinging with both barrels when this thing wraps up tomorrow night.

These people can't be reasoned with nor do they want to "play nice." It's like that scene in Rocky I when Rocky holds back fighting Apollo, until he gets Adrian's approval from the hospital bed and she says "just win." Geezzee...I feel like I'm watching Rocky I for the first time only this time they are pencil pushers instead of boxers:D

4. You don't remember John Kerry referring to the Bush Administration
as a bunch of "crooked liars?" I forgot the exact date but I was saying he has done it before.

3. I think the shitstorm cometh!
I just read the two new articles in Salon - by the actual folks that helped Bush AVOID service in the Guard - they are very, very damning indeed.

Ben Barnes is going on 60 Minutes with the story Wed night. Allison's widow (the other man who helped Bush Jr out) is the source of the other article. Some seriously damaging stuff in those stories. Both were CLOSE family friends of the Bush clan, who couldn't stand by any longer and be silent. Very brave people.

Can't wait to watch the results....

6. I tend to agree
but I think the Repukes really did swing way too hard, there, and threw themselves off balance. They went for the knockout punch, and missed.

I just watched Tad Devine spin this thing on the end of his finger on CNN...it was really beautiful. His point, while it may sound weak here, was simply that this is all the Repukes can do. They have nothing positive to talk about, so they just throw tantrums out of desperation- and with the scene Zell and Cheney caused tonight, it really made a lot of sense.
