CNN: Called out Zell

I know it's being repeated right now... But I am thrilled CNN called out Zell Miller for being the wacko he is.

1. The CNN folks made him look like an idiot.

Matthews should have used the same technique, instead of his usual attack-dog methods.

Tad Devine also did a nice job on CNN.

3. Notice that Zell was pissed at Tweety over the

Michelle Maulkin incident. I think it was a setup. Zell
was waiting to pounce on Chris for being rude (and bring up
the Maulkin interview). He must really love her uber-conservative
screeds. Of course, while Zell was making a snide remark to Chris
about how he interviewed Michelle, Zell couldn't stop himself from
being a misogynistic idiot (sorry, "Southern gentleman coming to
the aide of the wronged young lady"). Guess she is just too
weak to defend herself from that mean nasty Tweety.

2. And Bill Schneider was not too complimentary.

At least he was honest.

6. He looked WORRIED.

He said it right at the end- no one has ever won a presidential election by firing up the base.

Usually the guy has a shit-eating smirk on his face. Not a tooth was showing this time around. I think he knew this was really a desperate move on the part of the Republicans.

5. Zell sez he wants to meet his Mom in Heaven and tell her he stayed a Dem

instead of joining them blue-belly carpetbaggers. It was a flash of narcissistic insanity.

I remember his line when he was hawking his book about living in a comfortable old house (the Democratic Party) and now having some weirdos living in the cellar. It's more like a question of what's in his belfry.
