Demented Zell on Imus:"I mean how many people
in America wear them silly little bike helmets?" referring to Kerry's bike helmet he wears while biking.
He also made reference to his "tight little spandex pants" he wears while wind surfering..

LMAO..this old coot's been doing too many test tastings at his still.

8. Some would call it setting a good example.
For instance, George might have fewer facial wounds if HE wore a helmet.

They prefer anti-gay laws instead?

11. While we are on the subject of bike helmets
let us recall one of the Chimp's epic pratfalls (there are so many you really need a graph to keep track).

This crash happened in late Spring, and Zig Zag Zell might, in his angry fulminations, wonder whether the Chimp was being a sissy or being "prudent."

BUSH BUSTS FACE IN BIKE CRASH
http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/World/2004/05/22/469570-ap.html

CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) - President George W. Bush suffered cuts and bruises early Saturday afternoon while mountain biking on his Texas ranch.

He was on the 26th kilometre of a 27-kilometre ride when he fell, said White House spokesman Trent Duffy.

Bush suffered minor abrasions and scratches on his chin, upper lip, nose, right hand, and both knees, Duffy said. The accident occurred while he was riding with members of the Secret Service and his personal physician, Dr. Richard Tubbs.

After Tubbs cleaned his scratches, Bush finished the ride.

WITH HELMET.

The story was about Bush's fancy new off-road bike, which he rides now that his knees hurt too much to run.

18. Ahnold and Zell: "Bush looks like a girlie-man."
iSing in harmony now boys.

"There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call ... THE TWILIGHT ZONE."

20. Bike helmet can save your life
I used to think they were unnecessary, too, but recently I heard from a coworker about her friend who went head-over-handlebars and broke his neck (c-1). He is now wearing a halo but is expected to heal with no permanent damage. He WAS wearing a helmet and if it were't for that, he would be dead, no question. Apparently it's pretty rare to break c-1 and survive.

When I fell off an edge and rolled down a small hill. I probably would have been fine anyway, but who knows how it helped me through that thorn bush.

22. The question is WHO DOESN'T?
I myself sort of snicker when I see kids wearing them but if I was a father my kid would. I have taken enough spills (back when I mountain biked) to know that it is stupid not too, I feel vulnerable when I don't have one on when I street ride now.

Hey Zell you are a nutjob.
