1. What kind of people put a guy like that
front and center....

They could have found derelicts rummaging in trashcans who would have made more sense at the podium, and have been more gracious afterwards...

4. Kerry needs to be hitting him (personally) like a pinatas!! All day.
Miller is a fringe lunatic...and Kerry can push him over the fringe, thereby demonstrating that a Democrat has to be certifiably insane to switch.

6. Yeah, is he a Democrat or not?
If he is, then how bankrupt is the rep party for giving him the KEYNOTE SLOT?

If he is not, then what is the big fucking deal? Another republican doesn't like Kerry? And that is news?

8. WOW, I watched as much as my stomach could take --
these guys, Cheney and Miller, each with one foot in the grave, will not and can not pass the baton to a younger generation -- even boomers -- much less gen-xer's. Repug ideas are OLD and OVER. The only thing they can do to modernize this pre-60's message is to hide it with entertainers like Arnold and twits like the twins.

9. I totally Agree with this theme!
Zell Miller is loonier than a tune and than some. What in heck blazes happened to that man? Cheney was awful, period. He took credit along with his cronies of doom, gloom and blow them to hell and back, for the "safer world in which we live in now fallacy", and the soldiers were a second thought. The whole event last night was a cult-like, evil experience for me but I did as James Carville recommended which was to watch the repub's trip themselves up. Well I did and this morning I am reeling from the aftermath of their indoctrination and brainwashing. Perhaps the only cure is to get out and see Kerry/Edwards speak somewhere in the state this weekend. At least I know at their campaign events protestors and others from the other side are welcome to hear them speak and exercise their freedom of speech and choice. Keep the faith people. Peace & Blessings Be. ---ginger

11. Actually, now that I think of it, I disagree....
He's not some isolated old loony...he said exactly what this little knot of extremists and crooks MEAN to say....they have nothing to offer but fear and hate, and Zell shows that perfectly. But it's not insane...it's cynically calculated.

12. Ya, he's also loony, and a fear and hate monger -- both are
operative.

looked like.

Were those sparks coming off his head real or just part of the stage show?

16. No different then the DixieCrats that migrated over to the Repugs..
after the Civil Rights Act because they wanted discrimination to continue.

He says that he didn't leave the Democratic Party, they left him.

Guess what!!! Damn right the Democratic Party left him... we don't want anything to do with an idiot like him.
