"HI, I'm Zell Miller, and I destroyed the Republican Convention."
Like some old McCarthy era film, with color and better sound, Zell-baby gave the gang what they wanted. They just forgot it was televised. He not only threw meat, but he threw bones and Chicken-Hawk treats to a foaming sea of hate, hate, and more hate.

Only in America can a sociopathic freak show be brought to you by the friendly advertisers of products we use every day. Zell did not diappoint, and even had a curtain call for an egg-laying, corporate, avian, flight-challenged media whore, that was taken aback by Zell's off medication rantings and paper waving.

Never have so few, (1) given for so many. A huge thank you should be given to Zell, along with a drug firm clinical-trial free pass from one of the many pharmaceutical firms that took the trip across the river from New Jersey to zombie-up their benefactors with drinks and anti-depressant starter kits.

As fat-boy Rove's porcine jaw began to come unhinged, and he could get it off the floor, we are reminded that even the smartest republicans, if that's possible, can make Hooterville Junction mistakes.

14. Tee hee! Shades of Pat Buchanan in 1992! Remember THAT??
Too bad I missed all the fun. I'm sorry I didn't bother to see it - but I would have put my foot through the TV and then have to spend good money replacing it.

15. Except Buchanan was in control of himself afterwards
he didn't run right out and act like a raving loony, or threaten to shoot anyone...

20. IMO, It's Unfair To Label Gergen A GOP Shill. He's As Fair As They Come
and my sense of him has always been that he is trustworthy.

27. That's not been my experience of Gergen...
especially recently. He puts on the "airs" of fairness, but if you scratch him only a little he runs to the right as fast as he can. I have heard him on any number of occasions trouncing the Dems and whitewashing the Pugs. Try checking in on what he is saying right here before the elections. You may change your mind.

3. As with Ashcroft one is inclined to ask-"How did HE get to be a Senator?"
It is amazing when we get to know these guys and have to turn to someone we know from the state (s) they represent and ask them....

The pre-emptive "Don't ask" or "I don't know" or "Have you ever BEEN to ______?" usually comes right back at you.

13. He was appointed
Then elected on his own.

Lying sonofabitch. He pissed me off so badly last night that I will spend most of the day cussing like a drunken sailor that has just spent his last ten dollars on a disease riddled crack whore.

Absolute hatred for that man is just seeping from my pores. I need a drink.

it almost makes me wonder if he (or the Dems) set the Pubs up for a great big sucker punch.

6. I usually apologize for GA for putting him in the Senate
but screw that. No more apologizes. We're past being ashamed of him. I watched that load of shit at a rally last night in Atlanta. To say we were surprised is the understatement of the year. We were livid. No sense playing all nicey-nice with him anymore. No, he can't go Cheney himself. He can go fuck himself, and then continue on straight to hell. I dare you to show your face at a gathering of Democrats in Georgia Zell. I triple dog dare you. You fucking bastard.

7. Oh the irony!
The "raving, angry" Dean supporters (myself one of them) are rolling on the floor laughing over the way the GOP has embraced this loser!

8. while most people missed Zells melt down with Chris Matthews
those who saw his speech saw an angry old man demonizing Bush's opponent. The contrast to the cool, collected and reasonable keynoter at our convention, Obama, is apparent.

Hannity was raving about how good it was and couldn't wait for everyone to hear it. bwahahahahahahaha

At best it was just typical republican garbage that everyone has heard before.

22. On the other hand...
To the "mainstream" the crazy protestors that are getting the coverage are representing the people against Bush.

Let's face it: There are plenty of nice, normal, non-pyscho protestors out there.

Then there are ones who stand around naked.

Which ones will CBS cover?

protesters don't get on prime time TV in front of a national audience, by invitation of the RNC and lose their marbles.
