Okay, at the end of the interview with Axelrod and Smidt (sp? McCain's campaign manager). He ends with, "In fairness to everyone I must point out that despite criticism from Barack Obama according to our WSJ poll McCain continues to lead on who would be the best commander in chief by 55-42% (something like that)" and then it goes to commercial. HOW IN THE HELL IS THAT IN FAIRNESS TO EVERYONE? Why in the hell did that Republican hack feel the need to add that. He is such an asshole. I bet Tim Russert is rolling over in in grave every Sunday that that asshole hosts his show.
I personally believe he has no business moderating this debate.
I have posted several times that just a few weeks ago the NYT did an article about McCain's past cozy relationship with the press and it spoke of an intimate McCain birthday celebration at the 2004 Republican convention that both Tom Brokaw AND Bob Scheiffer (the moderator of the third debate!)attnded.
Just plain wrong according to journalism ethics 101 to have a personal relationship with one of the participants.
