Does Anyone Think That *Co Actually Wants A Run On The Banks Before Nov.......
so they can suspend the election and maintain power? It almost looks like this is what they are trying to set us up for. Could this be why the Dems came out to basically support *Co's plan? *Co probably thought that the Dems would balk at it and then if we had a run on the banks and *Co suspended the election - this would all be blamed on the Dems. This was *Co's last ditch effort to keep the Repugs in power. They know that McCain/Palin won't win. I think the Dems called their bluff and we will have a Dem administration.

5. I'm absolutely convinced...
On a prominent wall in the oval office is a calendar with sweet pictures of kitties and puppys and every morning George W. picks a crayon out of his 64 pack and marks an X through the current day. Then using his pointer he counts the remaining days. He smiles when he realizes that each time, it's less days. He doesn't quite understand why this is so, he's just happy it is.

Here's a question only Cheney can answer: Has he looted enough of our Treasury?

4. I think it's like someone on TV said...it's a lastminute power grab for $$ for his friends & power
Power for his lackey (Paulson).

That makes sense to me. It falls into the */Cheney neocon line of thinking and power grabbing.
