IMO, the Palin surprise will be an endorsement of a draft.
I think she will bring this up early in the debate to try and put Biden on the defense and force a Biden gaffe.

5. How would that hurt Biden? McCain already has tape of him implicitly endorsing the draft
at one of his rallies after someone in the audience brings it up. I don't think they want to give Team Obama more soundbites to paint them as the "draft" party...not with so many young voters coming to the polls.
