2. I missed most of it. What was being discussed? I did notice a man who
had worked for Smirk*/Sneer '00 was working against them this time.

4. Cube rats, here's my rendition of the tail (no pun intended) end.
of the Q&A. It was all read good.... When asked why he was speaking up, a "Republican for Kerry" mentioned that the JK campaign found him through his online blog. Another Repub. for Bush who was involved with the Bush campaign spoke. These guys were both mild mannered and likeable guys. Then Vilsack anchored the press conference. To paraphrase what he said: He attacked tax subsidies for big companies and said they should be halted (like JK plans to) and that manufacturing at home should be promoted. Then, states like his, Ohio and N. Carolina would be able to turn around. He said JK has a plan to promote rural access to internet. He mentioned energy independence and wondered why we are so connected to the Saudi's for oil He asked whats so compassionate or conervative about losing million of jobs or creating record deficits or no health care. He said this Republican Convention is not reality. It is anything but.
End.

5. Thanks. I saw Vilsack, but I had missed what the Republicans for Kerry
guys had said prior to that. Just wondered if the reasons that they gave were in line with what Vilsack stated.

6. They gave me the feeling that there might be many mod. Repugs feeling
disenfranchised. And I don't agree with Ron Silver that undecideds are gonna go for Bush.
