Palin is NOT a "true believer" - she is a female "Babbit" as in Sinclair Lewis' novel

I think people need to get it...

So I'm saying it...

Whether it's a small town or suburban megachurch... the body is full of social climbers... people that are essentially reptilian

They make all the right noises... know how to maneuver politically... how to play the group... "Get" the pecking order and use it

Palin is no more a sincere Christian than most of the televangelists out there "dodging for your dimes," as Cisco Houston put it.

She's a fraud... she will SAY or DO anything for power, status and money

Machiavellian Fundamentalists are way more slippery than true believers... they are the predators... true believers are the prey

You may think she's a "joke" and she may well be, to any rational person...

But to true believers? They think she's one of them

Think Jim Jones... do NOT underestimate her destructive capacity or the fanatical devotion of those that believe

1. Babbitt is a very apt comparison...

she is not intelligent or curious, but she is cunning and very ambitious.
Also, I believe that there is a "godfather" behind her. The grooming of Palin began years ago.

She's not faking her complete opposition to abortion, even in the case of rape or incest. She means it. And she believes in a God that shapes the ends of US government and foreign policy.

We'd all be lucky if she WEREN'T so fundie. Then she might be capable of changing.

They are fully capable of every sin they decry... with NO REMORSE, unless they get caught

It's method acting... after a time... the pathological liar is incapable of discerning what is the truth and what isn't

It looks like sincerity... but the only sin for them, is getting busted
