Fox: "President to deliver 'optimistic,' 'future-oriented' and 'visionary'
...speech at GOP convention

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,131218,00.html

NEW YORK — After launching scathing attacks on John Kerry (search) and declaring President Bush the only candidate who can lead America in the War on Terror, Republicans kicked off the last day of their 38th convention.

The commander in chief will be the main event Thursday night at Madison Square Garden (search) in New York City. "Optimistic," "future-oriented" and "visionary," Bush's longtime adviser Karen Hughes said when asked for adjectives to describe the president's 40-minute-plus speech.

Bush arrived in the Big Apple Wednesday evening under heavy security for a meeting with firefighters, making the connection to the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks and subsequent fight against terrorism that has defined his presidency.

The theme of Thursday's events will be "A Safer World, a More Hopeful America"; it follows three days of party loyalists focusing on Bush's achievements in the fight against terrorism, as well as domestic issues like education.

Here is optimistic, future-oriented and visionary Zell:

1. Tax cuts for the rich and privatizing Social Security
according to the AP....

Well, you'd have to be optimistic to the point of delirium to think that's visionary....

2. That means that his speech will be made up of sentences
which alternate the words "optimistic" and "vision" from beginning to end. Any time that bunch is accused of being too anything the pick up the descriptor word from the critique and use it to death.

4. It's interesting that "Optimistic," "future-oriented" and "visionary,"
...are coming from Karen Hughes.

Straight from the horse's mouth...or ass.

3. I suppose he could actually be visionary...
It's just that his vision doesn't appeal to many people. Hopefully, he will be as stupid as he has been in the past and mistakenly assume that all people want his vision to come true.
