Will Zell's hate fest have the same blowback as Buchanan's 92 gem?

My feeling is it will - particularly in the contest of Cheney's sneer and the purple heart bandaid episode. I am flabbergasted that the Republicans are turning this into a 4-day bash Kerry fest. The election is about Bush. If they don't sell Bush, what have they got. Maybe I am giving the American people too much credit but I don't think so. I am predicting a Kerry bounce after this week, at least in the battleground states.

Buchanan was a hatefilled turd...but he is in control of himself. He didn't appear to be losing his mind on TV as Zell did.....

Zell looked like he was overacting the Bryan part at the end of Inherit the Wind....without a Spencer Tracy in sight to egg him on....
