Responding to the third swift vets ad ...
I don't know if we have to respond to these aholes or not. They have pretty much discredited themselves. But if I was going to respond I would do this ....

(Ad opens)

Once again, the so-called "Swift Vets for Truth" are lying about John Kerry ....

They are lying about his Senate testimony in 1971

Cut to one of Kerry's band of brothers.
"John never accused any vet of committing atrocities. He repeated what soldiers had told him they has seen and done. There WERE atrocities in Vietnam. The My Lai massacre happened a few weeks before John's testimony. But John didn't blame the soldiers, he laid the blame squarely where it belonged - on the failed leadership in Washington who set the rules of engagement and got us in to the mess in the first place ......"

Cut to another of Kerry's band of brothers.
"In 1971, we had lost x soldiers, x were dying every week with no end in sight. Kerry said what a lot of us were thinking. Either let us win or get us out. How many more men had to die? ..."

Cut to another vet
"John never abandoned us vets. His entire senate career he helped vets in need. He helped vets suffering the effects of agent orange. He, with John McCain, helped bring closure to the families of our POW/MIAs. He has done as much for vets as any man in government. He never abandoned us."

Cut to last vet
"George Bush, who took an out in the National Guard and Dick Cheney, who got five deferments, think it is okay to rip apart our Vietnam vets and open old wounds for political gain. They should be ashamed"

Last shot - the word SHAME and fade to black.

This needs to be cleaned up - but I had a dream about this last night so I thought I would share.

1. Why don't you send this idea to the Kerry Campaign...
Who knows, they might just use it.
