So I hear there are unaired Katie Couric/Palin clips (from the first interview) that were to be
aired on Wednesday/Thursday. Does the new joint McCain/Palin interview mean we will never see them? I can't help but think CBS would be salivating at the thought of airing more embarrassing footage (of either side's candidate) if they had it.
2. Anderson Cooper referenced them in his opening -- don't know if he'll just
be showing them (doubtful - CBS is probably hanging on to them) or just mentioning that they're out there.
I read that the footage was from a VP forum type of thing -- and that they asked Biden the same questions. I'd THINK they'd have to show both Biden's and Palin's responses - otherwise it will be seen as beating up on her.
I believe they have footage of both Biden and Palin answering the same questions. They were intended to be shown in the lead-up to the VP Debate. There's some speculation that Palin's answers are at least as absurd as what's already aired.
