Really? You'd never know it the way he's talking about Palin right now on CNN.

1. He ran Perot's 92 campaign against Poppy Bush
He doesnt like the carpetbaggers that have called themselves Republicans since the mid 80's.

5. His "Bare Knuckles and Back Rooms" from several years ago isa very interesting read
he talks about how the right wingers planned to make "the liberals" and "the media" the new boogy men when the Soviet Union fell.
Conservatives ALWAYS need an "enemy to fight" in order to rally their sheep. And, of course, they continue to fleece those sheep.

13. I seem to remember he wasn't too happy with Arianna Huffington
In the book, didn't he blame her for her then husband's loss to Feinstein?

7. Telling The Truth About Palin
The McCain campaign can't keep her in a bubble. Biden has conducted nearly 100 interviews. The McCain campaign should have started out with interviews with the local press, then graduate up to the National Press. Instead, they limited access to the National Media, which can be tougher, and worse, McCain sitting with Palin just makes her look like an idiot. The Obama supporter, Roland, said Palin is like rookie running back, you just have to give her the ball, and expect that she will screw up a bit.

It was nothing mind blowing. Just the truth, which is shocking coming from a GOP strategist.

9. Wasn't he involved in some kind of election scandal in New Jersey
I thought that it was alleged (was it ever proven?) that he possibly was involved in some election shenanigans in the 1993 New Jersey governor's race that elected Christie Todd Whitman? Allegedly paying a bunch of African-Americans NOT to vote or something like that?

11. I'm not sure if it was ever conclusively proven
But then again 1993-1994 were REALLY BAD years for the Dems just about everywhere.

14. Bribing the Black Ministers
Actually, Rollins ran Todd-Whitman's campaign and Carville ran the democrat's. Rollins boasted, school yard style about having done this as a way to goad Carville. Whether it was really true or not has never been investigated.

19. True but he quit.
I'm not sure at what point, but Wikipedia says this:

"He also worked for the campaign of United States Representative Katherine Harris for the U.S. Senate. According to a Wall Street Journal article, the two had a falling-out, with Rollins not attending a staff meeting in Tampa and quitting a few days later after he questioned the viability of her campaign"
