3. What has to happen that McCain actually loses Ohio?
Glad that the polls are moving in the right direction, though. And the early voting start today will help Obama.

5. Problems
As I always say Obama will get 90/91 percent of the Black vote.Obama and Mccain being tied with the
Youth Vote Is also fishy.

11. This isn't the primaries anymore where we are hoping O scoops up a tonne of delegates-this is awful
Edited on Tue Sep-30-08 11:22 AM by RMP2008
Sure in a primary battle for delegates, losing by just 1 point would have been great. However, close means nothing in the electoral college. Mccain is still ahead in the two biggest swing states, Ohio and Florida, even after a total economic collapse. Not good. In fact, very disappointing.

You all can celebrate being 1 down. I won't. Ohio is still Mccain's according to this poll and so was Florida in yesterday's SUSA.

Show me Obama leading in OH/FL and then I'll celebrate.

AGAIN, this is no longer about scoring as many delegates as we can (of course we all know this)

Not trying to be a concern troll. Just injecting a healthy dose of reality.

13. The trend is POSITIVE.
I'd much rather be down by 1 in Ohio with Obama's ground game than to be in ahead by 1 against Obama's ground game.

With a Dem governor, if we stay this close in Ohio, we've got a great chance of taking the state.

Would I like it to be better? Yep. But will I shit over the trends going in our direction? No.

16. That's very true
And we're ahead in VA/CO/NC so OH/FL aren't as critical as they might otherwise be.

Still wish we were ahead. But best to look at the glass as half full indeed.

20. Ohio of all states. Hit the hardest with job losses, mass exodus of population
A customer in my shop the other day said he'd love it if northern Ohio could split off from the rest of the state and annex to Canada. Told him I'm on board with that!

I can't stand this racist, backwards state. :grr:
