Gwen Ifill Breaks Ankle, But Still Plans To Meet 'Em In St. Louis

First On TVNewser: PBS' Gwen Ifill has broken her ankle after tripping and falling down stairs at her home last night, a NewsHour insider tells TVNewser. We're told Ifill had been walking up a staircase, carrying research related to her moderating duties at Thursday's Vice Presidential debate in St. Louis, when she took a wrong step.

We are also told the show will go on: Ifill is planning to travel to Missouri for the big event.

I used to totally be a fan of Gwen, I've ridden the elevator with her a lot of times when I'm helping at WETA and stuff, I was kinda starstruck! But then people at DU told me she was horrible and I should hate her and since I came here I haven't been able to watch Gwen without thinking she's a pig. But NOW this week everyone here's talking about her like she's a buddy or something.. I just don't know if she's okay or not, I used to brag whenever I saw her but then I stopped :( I just don't know.. judging from the rest of the news I've seen lately I think she's not that evil.
