people not happy with bush
today in my small conservative town. I talked to one guy at the gas pump about the high gas prices and come to find out he's a Kerry supporter who is active here with the college age group. He said he's trying to get the college age more roused up about this election 'cause he fears another 4 with bush will mean the draft. Left there and had to go to the social security office and while sitting there in the lobby two men starting talking about how a buck doesn't go near as far as it did a few a years ago. They were saying that this has to get better or they will be out on the streets in a cardboard box.

Another lady at a workshop I went to this morning was talking about living in Texas and god, how she thought people would learn after 4 years of Bush...overall, very encouraging day :bounce: Now on to working the phone banks for Kerry campaign later this evening:D

This town is full of baptist, however, I agree with others here on DU, the tide is changing. Now after tonight of hate-fest 2004, Kerry needs to get out kick ass. No more Mr. Nice guy!

Never give the enemy a break.. send them to hell!
:kick:
