One of those funny moments. Judy, the stiff, introduced a "piece" by Bruce Morton about how Presidents and candidates sometimes have great, memorable one-liners come out of their conventions (you know with the build up that suggests the "great one" will spew forth something memorable tonight).
Morton's piece flashes through things like "no new taxes", "city on the hill", "a place called Hope", etc. Then he shows Bush on the stage testing things out for tonight and says, "and then there's George Bush who said the war on terror is not winable but he's going to win it". And then he made some comment I can't remember that implied "god knows what will come out of this boozo's mouth tonight". I don't think Judy liked that.
