When and Who? - Obama Landslide and Media
Not to be overconfident, because there is a lot of work left to be done, but which media outlet will first announce the probability of an Obama landslide. Chuckie Todd broached the subject last week and said if states start breaking one way or another then EITHER candidate may win a landslide.

Bonus points for naming the pundit.

I will go with MSNBC and Andrea Mitchell. (I am a gambler)

1. Not going any where near this one.
It's kind of like walking around with balloons before the party starts. I think you have to go outside and turn around three times then spit.

Do it now!

2. it would be easy to call it if one of the big ones breaks away
It would have to be an East coast state that the other side feels pretty confident about keeping in their column.

For McCain, he would have to win Michigan or Pennsylvania.

For Obama, North Carolina (considered a leaning red state despite the current polls), Ohio, or Florida.

It would be hard to imagine either side not getting a landslide if they win a couple of those biggies. That is, no way does McCain lose slightly leaning red states if he is taking light blue states from Obama, and vice versa. Luckily it looks more likely that Obama will take light red states away from grandpa.

3. It's like....
dumping gatorade on the head coach as the other team is completing a last-second Hail Mary for the winning touchdown! Just like my beloved Wildcats did against LSU a few years ago.
