It's that same damn number!

28%

7 out of 25.

That should be henceforth known as the Chimp ratio.

8. So look around for the slightly more than 1 person in 4
running around with their fingers in their ears going 'la la la la la la' at the tops of their lungs. Because clearly they're the only ones and that's the only way they could hold that opinion.

(PS - they're the same ones who still believe that Bush is taking the country in the right direction.)

That's exactly how that 28% should be understood. Do not despair. Humanity has made it this far with that same bell curve.

28. A funny thing about bell curves
Edited on Tue Sep-30-08 07:02 PM by symbolman
they exist EVERYWHERE..

If you stand in line at the supermarket long enough you'll discover that people bunch up near the middle and thin out near the ends.. a naturally occuring bell curve.. this was understood in the old days of crowd control, the 50's when Supermarkets were born, and so that's why they installed the 10 items or less cash register line at both ends..

When I was a kid I was fascinated by those balls being randomly sent through a phalanx of nails and how they ended up creating a bell curve as they piled up at the bottom in the History and Science Museum in Chicago.. since then I look for that shit everywhere, and find it..

The bell curve you've posted makes an interesting statement regarding "Democracy" does it not? :)

I recall in "The Agony and the Ecstasy" how Michelangelo constantly fretted about being "so lonely", you can see why..

And by the way, having a high IQ means nothing, my brother tested out at around 185, and he's a total dumbshit.. has no people skills, we used to catch him carrying home his bicycle in pieces now and then, the wrath of the local kids made his life a living hell.

I used to ask him, "Hey, Mr Answer Man.. if you're so smart, why do you get your ass kicked all the time?" :)

Hopefully Palin will have hers handed to her on a silver platter, she can put on her baby Seal head hat and get the fuck outta Dodge, NOW.

32. I'm always shocked when I see Biden at like 68%
as far as being qualified to be President.

Why must Republicans be soooo extreme? I'm in no rush to vote for Dick Lugar but I know good and well the man is qualified to be President, just not my choice. You'd think Biden would generally be seen in the same light but Republicans equate wanting to vote for someone as qualified.

If Biden isn't qualified then who the hell is on either side of the aisle?

37. It's that ~20% holding the other 6 billion hostage to the Bush/McCain policies.

Sixty million who voted for Bush, six billion opposed.

They can't vote and they don't approve, yet it impacts their lives daily. Loose this election and they will give up on U.S. leadership far beyond what they've given up already.

No pressure.
