1. McPeak, Wesley Clark, and Barry McCaffrey should go on the road
together and express their views. I think McCaffrey is anti-Bush (he seems to blame the GOP and Bush for the Iraq fiasco). And they should bring any other high-ranking retired military with them. I'm sure such a road tour of ex-Generals would garner a great deal of press attention.

3. Unfortunately, Tommy Franks has come out in support of Bush
as has Storming Norman. They were the top commanders on the two Iraq wars.

4. Yeah, well ODS didn't turn out well because of Schwarzkopf...
It turned out well in SPITE of him, and because his field commanders were sharp.

Hell, a trained monkey could've done Stormin' Norman's job during Desert Storm.

6. Storman Norman was bamboozled by Saddam into letting him fly
helicopter gunships in the Southern "no fly" zone which Saddam promptly used to kill the rebelling Shiites.

2. Kerry campaign has been running ads with McPeak
for the past couple of weeks. It is an effective ad in that McPeak says that he voted for Bush in 2000, but he is not doing it this year. He is endorsing Kerry.
