This convention is all about getting AS GOOD A TURNOUT as possible.

That is why I think that even is bush is ahead in the polls, Kerry will win: the democratic turnout is going to be record breaking.

THe GOP knows that they have more gains to make by increasing turnout than going after what little is left in the middle.

I heard that the lights will dim ... the low music will gradually get louder (I heard it will be the Hallelujah Chorus). Then as the dais slowly ascends with Bush standing in the center of the circle, whiffs of cloud-like smoke will swirl around his legs and and the pulpit-style lecturn.

Then when the platform has finally risen, a spot light will shine upon his visage, the chorus will reach a cresendo ... and the delegates will fall to their knees in a religious rapture and proclaim that George W. Bush has risen to save us all from our sins!
