Zell Millar...not a Democrat
I don't know if this has been mentioned here but I just found out that Miller is no Democrat. Sure we know he says he is, but that is in name only. He has a 97% voting record with the Pres. and 9% with his party. But what I didn't know is that he WAS NEVER ELECTED! He was appointed by a Repub. Governor in 2000 and will not run this year because he can't even get his party nomination. Wow, a not elected office holder from 2000, why does that sound familiar?

2. He was appointed by a democratic governor Roy Barnes and I
know Barnes is sorry for doing so and incidentally Barnes lost in a mysterious way in 02 himself (can you say e-voting hi-jack)to a repub Governor.

it's one thing to disagree. It's another to show up at the opposing party's convention and give a blistering, unfactual speech agasint your own party's candidate. The guy has refused to show up to a single caucus meeting to discuss policy - that's not dissent. That's using his label for opprotunism.

7. Sorry...
he was first appointed and then he won a special election to serve the remainder of Coverdell's term. Coverdell was a Republican. Roy Barnes, the gov who appointed Zell, was and is a Democrat.

9. No, no, 5by5. I'm sorry you are quite mistaken.
Zell Miller is no Democrat. He's a Republican who is too much of a backstabber to come out and say he's a Republican.

He's also bonkers.
