On the October 1 edition of MSNBC's Morning Joe, discussing the upcoming vice presidential debate, co-host Mika Brzezinski said of Gov. Sarah Palin: "It would be great if she could hit it out of the ballpark tomorrow night and that people may really like what they're hearing. They just -- we just haven't heard anything more than the fact that she's very likable and very technically competent. Am I being fair?" Earlier in the segment, Brzezinski also said of Palin: "The big issue, though, as (NBC News political director) Chuck (Todd) was talking about earlier, is whether or not she's even gotten to the acceptability bar. And I'm just going to just say, as a woman and a working mother, I would love to see her do well. I'm just not seeing anything in these interviews that are leading me to believe that she's got a deep world view. I'm just -- I'm asking, but I really want to hear more, and I want to be surprised at this point."...

i half-listen to Morning Joe some mornings and i thought i heard the crew joking about her doing that, it might have been part of one of their "jokes". That aside, a lot of the time that i actually pay attention to what's going on when she's onscreen i think of her as a drunk. Actually, the word that comes to mind is "floozy". I don't know why. She just seems like she's trying to be coy or cute or something. She sucks in her cheeks and sticks out her lips. She looks at the camera but it looks like she's looking in a mirror and practicing faces and I think, "MIKA!! WHAT IS YOUR ACT?"

I used to like her. Now, she just seems like a ditz.
