Did anyone just see World News Tonight with Peter Jennings?
Wow did they shoot down the Republicans. Hard.

They talked about how Kerry voted to reduce defense spending after Dick Cheney and Bush Snr. requested a 30% reduction. It also pointed out how they attacked him for a quote he said back in the 70s.

After that they went on the Money Trail. They pointed out how a Republican (Forgot his name) made a charity organization three weeks ago, and is already making political contributions.

Then they had a interview with Mrs. Bush who mentioned how Mr. Bush drove through the wall of his garage.

1. Is this three for three nightly news broadcasts?
I think CBS and NBC had similar. Thanks for the report, Massacure.

7. It really makes me crazy we have to let them know we appreciate

9. I bash them enough when I think they are wrong.
Have to maintain credibility.

8. For Immediate Release: Office of the First Lady: May 19, 2004
Actually, when he was running for Congress the very first time, his mother told me -- Barbara Bush said, never criticize George's speeches. So I really took her advice to heart and never criticized any of his speeches.

I knew there were plenty of other critics without me being one of them. Until one night, we were driving into our driveway and he said, tell me truth, how was my speech. And I said, well, it wasn't that good. (Laughter.) And with that, he drove into the driveway, drove into the garage wall. (Laughter and applause.)

5. I think CBS evening news has been hitting the RNC pretty hard..
with comments. It is good to see. I thought the reverse would happen. I have no idea what is going on in cable land, as I do not have it, but the networks are not letting them get away with much.
