Colbert is brilliant. College kids are dedicated to watching
Stewart/Colbert; he just spoke to them really powerfully.

Get off your duff and VOTE!

My niece, who isn't a college kid, this is the "news" she watches. Now I'm glad.

1. I hope we have a massive turnout - the more voters the less
chance they can steal this election.

2. The video told them to abstain from voting because you might regret it
the rest of your life, wait until you're more mature and are able
to make a decision with someone you love...........

At the end it said the video was brought to you by

"I'm John McCain and I approve this message"

Colbert then listed the last day you could register in your state to vote.

3. High schoolers are dedicated too.
I spent last winter on my friend's farm in Hawaii helping her out (rough life... I know). Anyway, she has twin 16 yr. old boys that are in Honors English. Their teacher asked the class to pick a book to study for the winter semester and they unanimously picked Colbert's!

4. The long-term best thing about Stewart/Colbert is subtle IMO...
Is that they show in an in-your-face way that it's possible to be BOTH smart AND cool.

It also helps drive the point home that a lot that girls go ga-ga over Stewart/Colbert.
