Dispute arises among progressive bloggers. Somerby rips Joe Klein, Josh Marshall and Atrios

Atrios, proprietor of the blog "Eschaton" analyzed John McCain's body language without having watched the debate. Because of this, Bob Somerby of the Daily Howler called him on it.

Atrios replied.

Joe Klein and Josh Marshall of TPM are equally under fire for not seeing McCain's lack of eye contact as a problem in real time. (Marshall originally declared the debate a "draw" while Klein pronounced Obama the "narrow winner."

But then, Klein and Marshall joined other pundits who had expressed outrage over McCain's lack of eye contact, deeming it condescending and qualifying it as "contempt".

Klein and Marshall are being called "hacktacular hacks" who lack originality and independence. and insight, in love with conventional wisdom and the "Official Group Narrative."
