OK, you can get on my case, but I think Joe and Gwen SHOULD use big words in the debate!

I don't mean pretentious, obsolete or too-technical words. I mean words that we would expect to encounter in reading today's NY Times or Newsweek. She seems to have some confusion over words with more than one syllable.

She won't be able to understand the question/response and she won't be able to ask for clarification, as I understand the debate rules. So there will be thunderous silence. There is NO way that her silence can be construed as helpful to her image. OR she'll lapse into her famous gibberish. Either way, it's bad.

1. They are both extremely knowledgeable and intelligent people.
All they need to do is be themselves. Faking it never works...Palin is proof of that.
