It's no secret that one of the big applause lines in Palin's convention speech was her snarky attitude to "community organizers". What I didn't see was an attempt by anyone from the Obama camp or Democratic talking heads to negate/devalue that comment.

You have to imagine that Palin is going to unleash that one again if the concept of experience comes up during the debate. That said, is Biden prepared to counter and turn around the argument or will it be another "score" for Palin when the final analysis comes around.

1. Nah. This isn't a partisan audience and I hope Ifill has the same 'no response' rule as Lehrer did

If Palin pulls out that GOP snark, it will fall flat in the hall, and look stupid on TV (See McCain's TWO tries at 'Miss Congeniality")

3. Sure. I didn't mean that it would get applause in the auditorium
But it's still a line that's meant to minimize Obama's experience and it's one of those lines that will be picked up by the media as a "hit" and scored as a point for her.

4. Well, McCain's "Obama doesn't understand" did not get him points in the media
I think excessive Palin snark will be seen as evasive and weak by the media punditry.

6. That's what I'm hoping as well. However, the press seems to want a Palin comeback so ....
... even if her whole presentation is non-specific bullshit I still see them praising her regardless of how empty her soundbites may be.

I'm pretty confident that the people will see through the BS just like they did last Friday but I'd still like to see some sort of comeback just so the press can't give her any credit for "charm/wit".

2. Biden, the Catholic, needs only say: Jesus was a community organizer, Pontius Pilot was a Governor.

5. McCain/Palin lack the capacity for cognitive dissonance
How they can ridicule Obama's experience as a Community Organizer, and in the next breath tout Palin's experince on the PTA is beyond belief.

It literally makes my head hurt.

11. If she comes off as snarky, perky or as a scold i think it will not end well for her.
no more "Pitbull with lipsticks" comments, no more "Thanks but no thanks". Tonight is a serious debate and her idiotic snarky sound bites aren't going to walk the dog.
